Frampton Family riding club

Frampton Family riding club was founded in 1974 by Mrs Mary Stud, sister in law of the late Mrs Clifford of Frampton Court. It was mainly for junior members who had no transport and found it difficult to get to places. Since then it has expanded to include senior members. The highlight for the club has been its success in the National hunter trials championships for the last 2 years.

In 1994 a senior team won the national novice and in 1997 a junior team member won the National novice indoor show jumping.

The riding club has been holding a few hunter trials for a number of years. Any money made during the competition is put back into the club to help improve the cross country course at Frampton court and to purchase essential items of equipment.

Several members only competitions are held throughout the year these include low key dressage sessions, a fun day and an indoor show jumping day.

These are both junior and senior team competitions where members represent the club at area level. Frampton family riding club is at area 18 which includes clubs from Oxon, Worcestershire and Gloucestershire.
